Meet Sunny!
Sunny is a handsome 9-year-old, 70lb neutered pittie mix who is sure to bring joy to any home. He's a playful, goofy boy with a huge heart and an infectious enthusiasm for life. Sunny is happiest when he's spending time with his people, showering them with kisses and enjoying playtime. He has lived with a professional trainer and has an excellent foundation in obedience, knowing commands like sit, down, stay, place, and several fun movement tricks. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, settling nicely in his kennel at night. Sunny is eager to learn and enjoys continuing his training due to his food-motivated nature.
Ideal Home
Sunny has a moderate energy level and would love an active family or couple who will include him in their daily activities. He walks well on a loose leash but can become excited when he sees other dogs, so calm guidance and redirection are helpful. Sunny enjoys rough-and-tumble play with medium to large dogs, but will need slow, proper introductions and continued guidance as he plays enthusiastically. He'd do well with a balanced, tolerant dog or would be happy as your one and only. Sunny loves meeting new people but can get mouthy when excited, so he'd do best with older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can help reinforce good manners and respect his boundaries.
