Poppy is a smart, active, and loving young female Pointer mix who has truly blossomed! Once shy and scared, she's now a willing participant in all family activities. Her energy has mellowed, and she's discovered her love for snuggling, making her a big lap dog. Poppy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a feline best friend. She's incredibly clever and enjoys tracking, though she is quite afraid of loud noises and engines, so a career in hunting is likely not in her future. Poppy was raised with minimal human interaction, but she's a quick learner and eager to please. She's still building trust, so a patient home is key for this gentle and loving companion.
