Meet Gigi! After three years on the streets and multiple litters, Gigi is still the picture of gentle sweetness. This beagle mix, weighing around 35 pounds, is quiet and observant. She's good with people, though a little shy initially, which is understandable given her past. With a little patience, she blossoms, leaning into kindness as if she's been waiting for it.

Ideal Home

Gigi is excellent with other dogs and finds comfort in their presence, so a home with a confident canine companion would be ideal. Due to her history, she is a flight risk, making a securely fenced yard absolutely essential. She knows how to take care of herself, which includes knowing how to escape. While she's not fearful of children, she can startle easily and her first instinct is to flee. Therefore, she would do best in a home with teenagers and older.

Ongoing Health

Gigi is house-trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and is not afraid of storms.

Gigi needs stability and patience as she learns to relax and simply be a beloved pet. Her past has taught her to be self-reliant, so a home that prioritizes her safety and gently guides her will help her thrive.
