Introducing Grover Chillington!

Grover's journey began in a high-kill shelter in Houston, where he was unfortunately placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a wonderful foster family stepped in, recognizing his sweet nature and giving him a second chance. Now, Grover is ready to find his forever home! He's an estimated 2-3 years old and weighs around 48 pounds, making him a perfect medium-sized companion. Grover embodies "chill" – he's a good boy with an old soul who loves being part of the family's activities. He enjoys walks and exploring but isn't a high-energy dog. Grover is content with a few daily walks and quality time with his people. He's incredibly well-behaved, house-trained, and never strays far from his loved ones, even with the freedom of a farm. He settles nicely indoors, gets along with everyone he meets, and isn't destructive. Grover has a gentle, friendly nature and quickly charms both people and other animals. He's not a big barker, making him a truly special companion.

Ideal Home

An ideal home for Grover would include plenty of affection, a soft place to sleep, and people who cherish having a devoted canine companion by their side. He can be a little shy initially but quickly warms up for belly rubs.

Ongoing Health

Grover is currently finishing his heartworm treatment. He is fully vaccinated, on prevention, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Grover is fully house-trained and has excellent house manners. He is as great off-leash as he is on.
