Chewy

Chewy is an incredibly sweet and affectionate Shih Tzu, possibly Maltese mix, estimated to be 1-2 years old. He absolutely loves to snuggle and is happiest when he's close to his people, whether that's curled up on your lap, relaxing on the couch, or even on your shoulder. Chewy does well with dogs and children, but he can be a bit protective and cautious initially, so slow introductions are important. He would thrive in a calmer home environment without a lot of people or children constantly coming and going. A home without rambunctious toddlers would be best.

Ongoing Health

Chewy recently underwent double eye cryosurgery, which appears to have been successful. There is some staining from drainage, but this is expected to grow out.

Training & Support

Chewy is puppy pad trained with occasional accidents and is a smart boy who should pick up house training quickly with consistency.
