Meet Luna!

Luna is a 16-week-old, 20 lb bundle of joy who came to us from southwest Virginia. She's a shy girl at first, but her tail starts thumping with happiness the moment you offer her a treat! Food is a great motivator for Luna, and she's a quick learner when snacks are involved. She's a gentle, quiet, and calm companion indoors, and she's already mastering crate training with no accidents inside. Luna gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is indifferent to cats. She's also a great traveler, riding well in the car without any sickness.

Ideal Home

Luna would thrive in a home where her shyness can be gently overcome with patience and positive reinforcement. Her love for treats makes training a breeze!

Ongoing Health

Luna is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her spay will be scheduled when she's age-appropriate and is covered by her adoption fee.

Training & Support

While Luna is quiet and calm indoors, her shyness may require some patience as she adjusts. Continued socialization and positive reinforcement training will help her blossom into her confident self.

• A completed adoption application is required.
• We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies).
• A virtual home visit call is part of the process.

Luna is being fostered in Richmond, VA. Transport may be available to other locations.
