Meet Allegiance Pwds. I have been involved in purebred dogs since the early 1990's. I am married and my husband and I have 6 children and now 2 granddaughters. We are originally from Michigan, in 2015 moved to Tennessee (Nashville area) for 4 years, 2019 relocated to Woodburn, KY and in 2025 we have landed in the Crystal River area of Florida and are loving it. I belong to the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America and the USSPWDC, a regional club serving Alabama, Georgia and Florida. I am also a member of the Movers and Shakers that serves the Carolinas and the COPWDC that serves Colorado as well as the GLPWDC club serving Michigan. I am involved in the PWDCA currently the chairperson of the Juniors Committee and Co-Chair of the Top Twenty Committee and in the past served on the Award-Winning Courier Magazine team, General Education Committee, Breeder Support and Education Committee, Chairperson of Junior Showmanship Committee and the Owner Handler Committee. I have been involved in Pwds since 2005. My kids have been active in conformation as well as dabbled in obedience, rally and agility in the past. My 2 daughters were active AKC Juniors qualifying for the Westminster and Royal Canin dog shows as well as winning Best Junior at the PWDCA National Specialty 3 times. All our dogs live in our home and are incorporated in everything we do. We would love to talk to you about the breed and how to be sure you find a responsible and reputable breeder.
