Mila

Born around January 2023, Mila’s story is one of grit, grace, and glorious tail wags. She was hit by a car and arrived at our rescue with a broken leg and a dislocated back—but Mila wasn’t about to let that slow her down. After one surgery and a whole lot of love, she’s bounced back like a furry superhero. Now fully recovered, Mila is a whirlwind of joy! Think husky energy in a sleek, social package—she’s playful, active, and always ready for adventure. She struts beautifully on a leash, adores car rides (windows down, ears flapping!), and makes friends faster than you can say “treat.” Mila currently lives in an outdoor shelter, so she’ll need a little help with house training. But she’s smart, eager, and oh-so-ready to learn. What she really needs is a home where she can stretch her legs, share her love, and finally rest her brave little heart. Mila’s not just a survivor—she’s a thriver. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a story that inspires and a spirit that never quits, Mila is waiting to meet you.

She can be adopted locally or can fly to her forever home. Most common, but not limited to, flight angel destinations are: Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver & Victoria.
