Toaster

Toaster is a 2.5-year-old dog with a zest for life that is truly contagious! Despite a spinal break he healed on the streets, Toaster is remarkably resilient and his balance and coordination have improved greatly during his time with us. He's even mastered short staircases! Toaster can be a bit of a playful roughhouser and sometimes likes to mouth forearms, but he's learning to moderate his enthusiasm. He's heartworm negative and has no other major health concerns, just a unique way of moving. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, his bouncy gait might be startling to them. Because of his energetic movements, we believe he would do best with older children who can handle his exuberance without being overwhelmed.

Toaster is heartworm negative and has no additional medical concerns.

Training & Support

Toaster is showing great promise with kennel tidiness and we anticipate he will master housetraining quickly. He's also surprisingly mellow on a leash. He is still learning to moderate his enthusiastic mouthing behavior with people.
