Meet Cash!
Cash is a 10-year-old Vizsla/Terrier mix who is as loyal and smart as they come. He's a true "Velcro dog" who lives for his people. Once he bonds with you, he'll be your constant companion, always keeping a watchful eye. He's deeply devoted, sensitive, and sweet, and truly thrives on having a best friend by his side.
Ideal Home
Cash would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, perhaps working from home or not gone for extended periods. He would thrive as an only dog or with one very calm, easygoing canine friend. A fenced yard is a must for his outdoor adventures, and he'll need daily walks (he's not a big fan of winter weather!) and playtime. He would love a home with older children who understand boundaries and a quieter household environment, as he can be uneasy with loud noises. And, of course, he'd appreciate a plentiful supply of soft blankets to "borrow" for his cozy nests.
Ongoing Health
Cash has hypothyroidism, which is well-managed with an inexpensive daily medication. His thyroid levels are closely monitored, and he's feeling better than ever! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, 4DX tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Cash is potty trained and knows to signal when he needs to go outside, sometimes with a gentle lick if it's urgent. While he's reserved with new people in his home and needs time to warm up, he loves people when he's out and about. He is protective of his family but has never shown aggression. He is territorial with food, toys, and bones, so he will need to be fed and given high-value items separately. We are actively working on teaching him about sharing and polite play, but management will be important in his forever home. He prefers not to sleep on human beds and has his own cozy spot in the bedroom.

Cash is located in our rescue. We can arrange transport to approved adopters within a 3-hour radius of our rescue at no additional cost.
