I’m Lucy, a sweet and silly girl who is about a year old. I was found on the side of the highway in Miami, FL, in a very bad way. I couldn't walk or even go to the bathroom on my own. It was a long and scary road, but I’m a fighter! Day by day, I got stronger, and now I'm feeling better than ever. I'm a medium-sized mix with big, soulful eyes and a goofy personality. I’m gaining weight and building muscle, and I’m already healthy and happy. All that’s missing now is my forever family! I love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful pup to share my life with. I'm also a super affectionate "Velcro dog" who loves to be near my people. Whether we're playing, snuggling, or just sitting quietly together, I'll be right by your side. I don’t take a single moment for granted, and I wake up every day excited to just be here. I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve never stopped being sweet, silly, and full of love.
