Meet Carrotwood Kennel Australian Shepherds. Originally located in SWFL, we have had Carrotwood Aussies as part of our life for 25 years. Through the generations they have proven themselves to be intelligent, dedicated and well rounded companions equally capable of competing at high levels of dog sports and ready to snuggle with a young child at naptime. They have accompanied us on Horseback rides in the wilderness, airboat and swampbuggies rides in the Everglades, help move livestock, gone to the State Fair to compete with "their" kid and always are willing to try new things as long as they are with their people. We highly value and have tried to preserve the natural working instinct that helps give this breed the versatility it is known for. We have produced Agility Trial Champions in multiple registries, high level Obedience titled dogs, dogs on multiple Championship Flyball teams, Service dogs, and the 1# Aussie at Dock Dogs Worlds in 2016 AND 2017. Our highest priority is to produce a valued member of the family (with proper care and training of course) that can be in every part of their families life and share the selfless devotion that these dogs have for their people. We are a small "kennel" and all of our dogs live in our home with us and are a part of our daily small farm work and our childrens life. All of our breeding dogs have all applicable health tests and DNA profiling recommended. We register and show in both AKC/ASCA/UKC. As of 2025 we have relocated to NW Tennessee!
