Meet Bartola! Bartola is a 2-year-old, 14-lb Pug mix who proves every day that eyesight is optional when you've got confidence, brains, and a great sense of fun. Yes, she's blind - and no, it doesn't slow her down one bit. Bartola runs, plays, explores, and lives life like she has a full set of superpowers. She's a very smart, playful, and loving girl who quickly learns her surroundings and navigates them like a pro. Bartola adores people, does great with gentle kids, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Cats, however, are not on her guest list. Bartola's personality is big, joyful, and full of charm. She'll make you laugh, melt your heart, and remind you that limitations are mostly imaginary. If you're looking for a happy, resilient little dog who brings smiles wherever she goes, Bartola is ready to show you just how amazing she is.

Applicants are typically contacted within two to three days from submission. Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for the dog. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up an appointment to speak further and meet in San Diego.
