About GLORIA

GLORIA is a delightful 3-year-old small mixed breed girl, weighing in at about 30-35 lbs. She was rescued from a euthanasia list at a shelter in South Carolina and absolutely adores people of all ages! Gloria loves to play and run, especially if you're willing to join in the fun. After a good play session, she's ready to relax and nap. She's a smart cookie who is crate trained but doesn't require it. Gloria is also house-trained and up-to-date on her shots, and she receives monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She enjoys dressing up, loves bath time, and can't resist a good stuffy toy. She also appreciates a soft, comfy bed for her naps.

Ideal Home

Gloria needs a home with a fenced yard to safely enjoy her zoomies. She must be the only dog in the household, as she does not get along with other dogs. To ensure her safety and the safety of others, walks in public places or dog parks are not recommended. Children should be at least 8-10 years old and understand the importance of giving her space when she is in her crate. We are also asking for no cats in the home as we are unsure of her compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Gloria is up-to-date on vaccinations and receives monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Training & Support

Gloria is already house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn't need to be crated. She is very people-oriented and enjoys gentle play. Due to a past incident where she reacted negatively to other dogs during a walk in a public area, it's crucial to follow the guidelines of keeping her in a secure environment and avoiding situations that could trigger her reactivity. While she is happy to be a homebody, working with a behaviorist could be beneficial if you wish to explore more excursions in the future.
