Dottie

Dottie is a sweet 4-year-old, 62-pound bundle of joy looking for her forever home! She's a loyal companion with a goofy personality that's sure to keep you entertained and laughing. Dottie loves to play with her rope toys and stuffed animals, and she's always up for a game of tug-o-war. When she's not playing, she's likely snuggled up by your side, a true cuddle bug at heart. Her foster mom describes her as very intelligent and food-motivated, which makes her a quick learner when it comes to training.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can get at least one good walk or play session a day. She enjoys running and playing but also loves to relax. She does best with one or two calm, big dog friends and can get a bit overstimulated in larger dog groups. She would also be happy as the only pet, receiving all the love and attention. Dottie would do best in a home without young males, as she has had negative experiences with them. She is great with women and adult men.

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, though she's also comfortable free-roaming and settles well. She walks calmly on a leash but will pull and bark if she sees another dog. She's eager to please and picks up on training quickly due to her intelligence and food motivation.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
