Diego is a spirited pup who’s ready to zoom into your heart! He’s guessed to be 2-3 years old and weighs a lean 62 lbs. Diego was found as a stray and is now neutered, vaccinated, and has completed his heartworm treatment. He's a playful and observant boy who enjoys car rides and meeting new people. Diego has a good balance of needing physical and mental stimulation and is crate-trained, which he uses as his "off" button. He was fostered with dogs of all sizes and personalities and enjoys a good romp with his canine friends. He can get obsessed with smaller critters, so he would do best in a home without cats, though he does enjoy chasing squirrels.

Ideal Home

Diego would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run at full speed, in circles or zig zags. Someone familiar with the higher energy of the Doberman breed would be a great fit for him. He needs a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Diego's ears are cropped but do not stand; they have some scarring along the edges from past attempts to heal, suggesting previous infections. These do not cause him discomfort or require ongoing care.

Training & Support

Diego is crate-trained. He enjoys playing with other dogs but can be obsessed with smaller critters and will chase squirrels.
