Edith

Edith is a charming 5-year-old Rat Terrier mix with a heart full of love to give. She finds herself searching for a new forever home after her previous owner had to go to hospice and no family could take her in. Weighing in at a petite 15 pounds, Edith is quite athletic and surprisingly cat-like in her indoor habits, often found perched on the backs of chairs and couches.

Ideal Home

Edith would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, as she is still learning to walk on a leash. She enjoys the company of other dogs, provided they are not overly boisterous or get too close too quickly.

Ongoing Health

Edith is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

This sweet girl is house-trained, but maintaining a consistent schedule will help her continue to succeed. She can be a bit sensitive to other dogs who are too in-your-face, likely due to her previous living situation where she had a lot of freedom with other pets.
