Rue

Hiya Friends! My name is Rue and I'm a beautiful black and tan Shepherd mix, about 1 year old. I was rescued and am now thriving thanks to IDGSR! I'm learning what a loving home is all about and am a house and crate-trained, lovely gal with decent manners. I'm very smart and catch on quickly, so I'm hoping for a home that will help me get my PHD in obedience training to be the bestest girl around. If you're looking for a friendly, resilient, and wonderful companion, I'm your girl!

Ideal Home

I would love a home with older kids (10+) and a large male dog to romp around the yard with. I cannot live in a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and monthly preventatives, and I have been spayed.

Training & Support

I need obedience training to help me be the best behaved girl I can be.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All dogs are fostered in Tennessee unless otherwise noted.
• All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered.
• Puppies under 6-months of age will require a spay/neuter contract; a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter.
• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.
• Due to the high volume of inquiries, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications.
• All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time.
• Not able to adopt? Consider fostering one of our wonderful dogs!

Transporation

I am currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. I am available for transport to the East Coast (a transport fee will apply).
