Bayou

Bayou is a sweet boy who came to us from a high-intake shelter in Texas after flood waters displaced many animals. While he can be a bit shy with new people, his fun personality is quickly emerging, especially with the help of tasty treats and praise from his caregivers. He loves soft toys and enjoys playtime when the mood strikes him. Bayou can be a little particular about which dogs he shares his bed with, but once he's made a friend, he's the best doggy companion.

Ideal Home

We think Bayou will truly come to life in a home with another dog to keep him company and people who are patient and understanding as he settles in.

Bayou is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bayou is not yet house-trained. He is still working on building his confidence and may need some guidance as he adjusts to his new environment.
