Sam

Sam may have had a bit of a reputation, but he's truly an absolute doll! He's a sweet, 10-year-old gentleman who is navigating the world with limited vision. This means he relies heavily on his nose to understand his surroundings. When he first arrived, there were concerns about biting, but he has not bitten since coming to us. He gets along well with other dogs, though he may occasionally give a quick snap – it’s just his way of saying, "Hey, I didn't see you there!" Sam is a gentle soul who simply needs a little patience and understanding to feel comfortable.

Training & Support

The key to Sam is to let him smell your hand first and give him a gentle pet so he knows you're there before trying to pick him up or handle him. Once he knows you, he's perfectly content.
