Cualli (Toltec for Good)

Cualli is a handsome 2-year-old boy with a heart of gold, reflected in his Toltec name. He was found abandoned in the beach town of Tecoman, Mexico, where he was surviving on scraps at a restaurant. Sadly, he had endured repeated attacks by other dogs, resulting in numerous wounds, including a severe one on his eye that has since healed beautifully. Despite his past hardships, Cualli is a resilient and loving companion.

Ideal Home

Cualli would thrive in a home that understands his history and can provide him with patient guidance. He is known to be excellent with female dogs and puppies. However, he can become defensive around unneutered male dogs. He has been tested with children and is known to be good with them.

Ongoing Health

Cualli's eye injury has healed, and he is otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

Cualli is looking for a family who can help him learn basic manners and continue his positive reinforcement training. His past experiences have made him a bit protective of himself around unneutered males, so continued socialization and positive exposure will be key.
