Franklin

Meet Franklin! He's a handsome, approximately 2-year-old fellow who came to us as a stray. Franklin can be a bit anxious in the shelter environment, but he absolutely adores his time outside, which has been a huge help in making him feel more comfortable. Our dedicated kennel staff has been working on his leash manners and teaching him some basic commands, and he's been a star student, showing a great receptiveness to training! He's already house-trained and has been very respectful of his toys and bedding, showing no signs of destruction. Franklin is a young dog with a lot of get-up-and-go, so continued training in a loving home will be key to his continued success.

Ideal Home

Franklin is curious about other dogs and has the potential to share his home with a canine companion, provided they have a proper introduction. As we're unsure of his history with children, and given his energetic nature, he might be a bit too much for very young kids.

Ongoing Health

Franklin is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Franklin is house-trained and has shown great progress with leash training and basic commands. He'll thrive with continued positive reinforcement and patience as he settles into his new home.
