Beans *Special Needs*

Beans is an 8-1/2-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix who is considered "Special Needs" due to a Level 4 Heart Murmur. While he isn't on medication currently, this is something to be aware of for his ongoing health. Beans is housebroken and enjoys car rides, often curling up in a bed in the passenger seat. He came from a difficult situation where he suffered from severe flea and tick infestations, which caused him to lose his hair. Despite this, he's eager to find a loving family to give him a better life. Beans also has a "cloudy eye" but his vision is still good. He may also benefit from a canine companion to help him continue to thrive.

Ideal Home

Beans requires a securely fenced yard as he is not leash trained and has a tendency to climb over obstacles. He is also an escape artist and a door darter, so extra caution is needed when doors are opened.

Ongoing Health

Beans has a Level 4 Heart Murmur. He also has a "cloudy eye" but his vision is still adequate.
