Dexter is a playful, cuddly, and wonderfully curious 12-week-old miniature schnauzer mix puppy who is ready to find his forever family. He was found running in the middle of a rural highway, covered in fleas and clearly abandoned. Thankfully, a good Samaritan scooped him up, and he's been living the sweet life in his foster homes for the last 3 weeks. Dexter is adaptable, quick to learn, great with kids, good with cats, and LOVES dogs. He's a social little guy who absolutely loves cuddles. When he's around people and cats, he tends more towards cuddle and kisses mode. When he's around other dogs, all he wants to do is play, follow the big pup around, and learn "how to dog" from his pup pals. He has been around kids as young as 18 months and was timid and gentle, but as his personality comes out, he would likely do best with kids old enough to understand that puppy teething and play biting is a behavior to train rather than being scared. Dexter loves to sleep curled up at his 8-year-old human foster sister's neck and quickly adjusts to sleeping in his kennel next to his 10-year-old dog foster brother's kennel.
Ideal Home
