Meet Chase! This charming 8-year-old Miniature Poodle may weigh just 11 pounds, but he's full of personality. Friendly, curious, and outgoing, Chase enjoys spending time with his people and blossoms into a happy, affectionate companion once he feels safe and settled in his environment. Many of our pups have had limited prior socialization and may need time, patience, and support as they adjust to home life. Skills such as house training, leash walking, and handling may require continued practice. Progress will vary by individual dog.

Ideal Home

Chase is looking for a calm, adult-only home where his adopter will give him the time and patience to build trust at his own pace. He appreciates gentle, respectful handling and does best with someone who understands that letting him choose the speed of new interactions helps him feel confident and secure. Because of his sensitivity, a home without young children is recommended. While Chase has met other dogs at the shelter, he would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love, attention, and cozy moments with his favorite people. If there is another dog in the home, a meet and greet at the shelter is required to ensure everyone is a good match.
