Paris

Paris is a one-year-old, 50lb Labrador Retriever with a beautiful, soft black coat that shows off brown undertones in the sunlight. She's a bit on the shorter side, coming in at knee-height. Paris is a sweet girl who reminds us of a dog who spent her first year in a kennel. While she's super friendly and playful once she knows you, she can be a bit timid around new things outside her comfort zone. We've been working hard to help her explore the world, and she's making great progress! She's now comfortable walking on a leash outside the home, meeting new people, and learning that cars aren't so scary. She's also an excellent cuddler and has already mastered "sit," "down," and "place," and is working on "shake." She's a smart cookie and a loving companion!

Ideal Home

Paris would thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard. Children are welcome if they are respectful of her space. We do not adopt to homes with electric or underground fencing.

Ongoing Health

Paris is up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Paris is a work in progress and will need a family committed to daily training. She's doing well with house training when taken out regularly, but her confidence in this area is still developing. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning dog-to-dog dynamics; as she feels more secure, her true personality will shine!

• Once approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet.
• Approved adopters should be prepared to bring Paris home within 1–3 days of approval.
