Birdie is a sweet Shepherd mix who came to us from another shelter. This approximately 58 lb girl is about 2 years old and has a medium energy level. She's ready to find her forever home and is eager to become a part of your family.
Ideal Home
Birdie can thrive in any home, including apartments, as long as she gets enough exercise. She doesn't have any specific fence requirements.

As with any new pet, it's recommended to assume Birdie may need some potty training and help with house manners, though this is not always the case.

Applications for Birdie start by contacting us through Wags.
- To apply, please complete the application thoroughly and ensure all questions are answered and it is signed.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and reside within a 100-mile radius of our shelter located at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
- You must identify at least one animal you are interested in.
- Once your application is received, it will be assigned to a volunteer Adoption Counselor who will follow up within a few days, or discuss other options if Birdie is no longer available.
- Please allow up to a couple of weeks for a final disposition on your application.
- Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only (30 minutes per appointment). The entire household, including any resident dogs, must be present. If you are meeting cats, please do not bring your dogs. Introductions will take place outside in our parking lot or in our cat room if you are meeting cats.
- Vet checks for current and prior pets in the household will be performed.
- Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.
Transporation
Birdie is located at our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089. We are able to transport pets to approved adopters within a 100-mile radius of the shelter.
