Sugar

Sugar is a sweet 6-year-old Shih Tzu mix who weighs between 10-15 lbs. She made her debut at our adoption event and was as delightful as her name suggests! Sugar is currently available on a foster-to-adopt basis or seeking a temporary foster. We are awaiting an opinion from the vet regarding her eye, and will decide whether or not to proceed with removal. The rescue will cover all of her medical care until then. If the foster decides to move forward with adoption, we will finalize it once she is medically cleared.

Ideal Home

Sugar is dog and cat friendly. A fenced yard is not required for Sugar, as she walks well on a leash.

Ongoing Health

Sugar is currently being evaluated for an eye condition. The rescue will cover all her medical care related to this until a decision is made about its removal.

Training & Support

Sugar is crate trained and is working on her house training. She is happy to potty outside or use pads.
