Peony

Peony radiates sunshine, offering endless wiggles, silliness, and love! This happy-go-lucky Staffie mix, about 5 years old and 45lbs, has never met a stranger and is fantastic with people, children, dogs, and cats. She is gentle and loving with toddlers, playful with dogs of all sizes and can adjust her play style accordingly, and shows no interest in the cats she's fostered with.

Ideal Home

Peony thrives on routine and structure, benefiting from guidance in impulse control, crate work, and proper exercise. Without a structured outlet, she can become overstimulated.

Ongoing Health

Peony is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will be ready for her forever home in mid-August.

Training & Support

Peony is working on loose-leash walking and needs a dedicated adopter committed to consistency. She has a good foundation and will benefit from ongoing training. Our rescue provides adopters with various training resources to ensure success.
