Annie is a precious sweetheart with a babyface to match! She's a little ball of fun and kisses, perfect for someone who loves the outdoors and being active. Annie loves snuggling, squeaky toys, being outside, and being your shadow. She's a bundle of joy at 8 weeks old and currently weighs 7 lbs. We estimate she'll be around 30-40 lbs when fully grown, possibly mixed with a smaller breed. Annie came to us from Louisiana after she and her littermates were surrendered with their mom to a kill shelter. A local group took them in, and we were able to commit to taking them when they were old enough.
Ideal Home
Annie would thrive in an active home where she can explore the outdoors. She does well with cats, kids, and other dogs!
Ongoing Health
Annie is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
Training & Support
Annie is working on her potty/crate training and doing well! We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog's age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.

- We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call.
