He was found abandoned along a busy highway in Puerto Rico, a place that brought him fear and loss, yet he survived with his gentle spirit intact. Pio is an incredibly calm and gentle dog, content to be by your side, soaking up affection and quietly observing the world. He has a way of leaning into you for pets, as if making up for lost love. Despite his past, Pio chooses trust and greets everyone with a soft, hopeful heart, asking only for a safe place to belong. He has survived the hardest part of his life and is now looking for a family to love him, a cozy bed, and the promise that he will never be alone again.
