Daisy Sue, a 2-year-old spayed female, weighs approximately 35 pounds and is a charming mix of Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog. She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, known for her adorable zoomies and affectionate cuddles. Daisy was rescued from a euthanasia list and is now looking for her second chance at a happy life. She's a social butterfly with other dogs, enjoying romping and playing with pups of all sizes, and is wonderful at reading social cues. Daisy is an energetic young dog who would thrive in an active home with daily walks, playtime, or a securely fenced yard. She's also a fantastic work-from-home companion, happy to snooze nearby while you work. Daisy is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, is crate-trained, and has no issues with resource guarding. She is food motivated, making training a fun and easy process. Daisy can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, but with patience and gentle voices, she warms up to reveal her affectionate and cuddly nature. She would do best in a calm home with a predictable routine.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in a home that includes another friendly dog for companionship (strongly preferred). She'd also do well with an active lifestyle that includes regular exercise or a yard. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog would be a good fit. She can be left loose in the house when alone and is not destructive, though she does find shoes fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy has no known ongoing health conditions.
