My name is Eloise, but you can call me Ello! I am a 5-year-old, 62-pound Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love and a spirit as strong as can be. I've overcome a difficult past and am now thriving in a foster home, ready to find my forever family. I'm house, crate, and leash trained, and I'm a social butterfly who gets along with other dogs, older kids, and even cats! Whether you live in an apartment, a cozy house, or even on the road, I'm adaptable and ready for adventure. I love snuggling on the couch, going for car rides, playing with my canine friends, and getting plenty of attention. I even participated in Pups for Parole, so I've got a great foundation in basic training!
Ideal Home
I could thrive in an apartment, a cozy home, or even the wide-open road of a semi-truck! I enjoy sitting on the couch, car rides, wrestling with other pups, and attention from my people.
Ongoing Health
I have a condition called hyperkeratosis, which means my paw pads can get thick, dry, and rough. I'll need ongoing treatment with a balm and regular trimming by a vet or groomer. I also take daily medication (Gabapentin, Apoquel, omegas, and hip/joint meds). Despite this, I'm a wonderful girl!
Training & Support
I've completed basic training and am eager to continue learning. I need a family committed to reinforcing my training so I don't forget my skills!

- We do adopt out of state with vet references and a video home check.
- The adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out.
- We do not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home.
