About Peanut

Meet Peanut! This stunning 2-year-old Labrador mix is ready for her next adventure. With her sleek black coat, striking white markings, and zest for life, Peanut is the definition of a happy explorer. She thrives outdoors, whether it's hitting a hiking trail and sniffing out every interesting scent or simply enjoying quality time with her favorite people. Peanut is happiest when she's a part of your journey, making even a quiet moment by a waterfall special. She's an intelligent and affectionate girl who already knows "sit," "leave it," and "come." Plus, she's crate trained, house trained, and eager to learn from those she trusts.

Ideal Home

Peanut needs an experienced adopter who can provide the structure and consistency she thrives on. She's looking for an adult-only home, or one with older, dog-savvy teens. She would do best as the only pet in the home, or with an experienced owner who can carefully manage introductions to other animals. Homes with cats are not a good fit for Peanut. A securely fenced yard is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Peanut is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has been spayed and microchipped. She received a veterinary health exam and health certificate prior to transport.

Training & Support

Peanut has some behavioral challenges that require an experienced owner committed to continuing positive, reward-based behavior modification. She thrives with clear expectations and consistent guidance.
