Meet Chu Chu, a sweet senior Boxer who's ready to bring pure joy into your life! Chu Chu's foster mom, Marjorie, didn't know she needed this gem until she arrived. Every morning is a delight as Chu Chu performs her "I pottied" dance, a happy full-body wiggle and Boxer "pirouette" to celebrate a successful potty break. She's the embodiment of happiness, content with a routine of guaranteed meals, loving affection, and a cozy spot to call her own. While she might take a moment to warm up to new faces, especially men wearing hats, she quickly becomes a devoted friend. With a little patience and understanding, like her dog walker who removes his hat before entering, she blossoms into a loving companion.
In just six weeks, Chu Chu has transformed from a timid shelter dog to a confident girl eager for walks, showcasing the incredible impact of a safe and loving foster home. Marjorie shares, "I adore this girl. She was my first foster after losing my Glory girl in December. I am so glad I opened my heart to her; she has helped me heal from what I thought was 'I can't foster again' to 'Momma, you needed me as much as I needed you.'"
Chu Chu is friendly with dogs and cats alike, and it seems she might even prefer the feline company! She's often found snuggling with the cat in a shared bed, and the cat even leaves "crumbs" for her to enjoy. This diamond in the rough is looking for her forever home!
