Meet Bear, your future loyal best friend! Bear is a handsome 5-month-old puppy, weighing around 40 pounds. He's a bundle of joy, full of sweetness, affection, playfulness, and a whole lot of personality. Like any energetic large-breed pup, Bear loves to stay active. He enjoys his walks, playing in the park, romping with his toys, and most importantly, spending time with his favorite humans and furry pals. After a morning of fun, he loves a good nap before an evening of more play and walks. Bear is incredibly affectionate and has a gentle, loving nature. One of his most charming habits is offering his paw for you to hold – his special way of showing trust and love that's sure to melt your heart. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children, and he has the makings of a wonderful protector and big brother. He especially loves playing with his sister and enjoys having canine companionship around him.
Ideal Home
Bear would thrive in an active family committed to daily walks, playtime, and plenty of love. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, giving him room to romp and explore. He has no mean bone in his body and would fit beautifully into a home with children, dogs, cats, or all of the above.
Ongoing Health
Bear has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on prevention.
Training & Support
Bear is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is food and treat motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. At night, Bear sleeps quietly in his crate and settles in immediately. He is crate trained and currently crates for short downtime during the day as well as overnight. Because he is still a puppy, he is working on learning basic manners such as not jumping and understanding which items are toys and which are not. Bear does experience some separation anxiety and is not quite as independent as his sister. He thrives on companionship and enjoys being near his people and canine friends. His ideal family will understand that he's still a baby learning about the world and will continue helping him build confidence as he grows.
