Hi, I'm Dixie! I'm a beautiful 4-year-old blue pittie, weighing around 55 pounds. I was found after my previous people left, and while I'm safe and loved now, I dream of having a person of my own again. I'm a champion cuddler and absolutely live for belly rubs and hugs – I might even fall asleep in your arms! I get along well with other dogs and have a soft spot for chasing chickens (apologies to any feathered friends!). I'm crate trained, house trained, and know how to sit for a tasty cheese reward, which is our special daily ritual. I'm so ready to share my boundless love with a family that will choose me forever.

Ideal Home

A loving home where I can be your one and only best friend. I am not a fan of chickens, so a home without them would be best.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

I'm already house-trained and crate-trained. I also know how to sit, especially if cheese is involved! My favorite part of the day is greeting my foster dad at the fridge for a shared cheese treat.
