Timothy TX

Hi there! I'm Timothy, and while my face might look a little soulful, it's just because I've seen a few things. I arrived at a shelter in Texas not feeling my best – my skin was itchy, my fur was thin, and I even had a lump on my hip that needed attention. But thanks to some wonderful people, I'm feeling much better now and am enjoying life with my foster mom while I wait for my forever family. I'm about 8 years old and a perfectly portable 16 pounds, making me an excellent companion for all sorts of adventures, from walks to cozy couch snuggles.

Ideal Home

I thrive on calm and predictability. A home without children would be ideal for me as I continue to build my confidence and learn that the world is a safe and loving place.

Ongoing Health

I've had some medical care to get me feeling tip-top, including treatment for my skin and the removal of a lump on my hip. I'm feeling great now!

Training & Support

I can be a little cautious with new people and take some time to warm up, but I promise I do want to love you! Patience, kindness, and a gentle approach will help me feel secure. I'm also great on a leash, and while I'm not quite a cuddler yet, I'm making progress and love to be near my people, following them like a quiet shadow. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, big or small!
