Bingo is a sweet, cuddly, energetic, playful, protective, and joyful 2-year-old Plott Hound/Pitbull mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Bingo and his brother were found roaming the streets in Houston and are now looking for their forever homes. Bingo is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to find a family to call his own! He is an incredibly loving dog who is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Bingo is a social dog that appreciates canine company for play, tug, snuggles, and chase. He is a responsive and quick learner who is very treat motivated. Bingo loves to play fetch and tug. Bingo loves the outdoors just as much as he loves a snuggle on the sofa with his human and canine companions.
Ideal Home
Bingo would do best in a home without cats. He has lived with children in the past and is currently living with an infant, but due to his playfulness, we suggest a home with older children as his wiggly butt could knock over a small child. Bingo would thrive with access to a large outdoor space where he can run, romp, play, and exercise every day.
Ongoing Health
Bingo is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Bingo is initially reactive to other dogs he does not know and is reactive to dogs while on a leash. After slow introductions, he warms up quickly and would love a doggie sibling to play with! He has made progress on walks and can be distracted by food but needs someone to continue working with him. Bingo is scared when meeting new people and doesn't like quick movements or people sticking their hand in his face. He needs someone patient who will help build his confidence. We are offering 4 free training sessions to help any adopter be successful with Bingo. Bingo is fully house-trained and crate-trained.
