Kanela

Meet Kanela! This sweet, 6-year-old Lab mix is a true survivor with a heart full of love to give. She came to us all the way from sunny Puerto Rico, where she lived her life as a street dog, soaking up the rays and charming everyone she met. Now, Kanela is ready to trade her street smarts for the comforts of a forever home. She's an active and friendly girl who already gets along wonderfully with other dogs. While she's learning leash skills and household manners with us, a life on the streets means she'll need some patient guidance and continued socialization in her new home. Kanela is a happy, bubbly gal, and we've promised her that the rest of her life will be the best of her life. Could you be the one to make that promise a reality?

Transporation

Kanela is located in South Carolina and transport to the Northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
