Georgia

Georgia is a 1-year-old, 65-pound American Bulldog mix who was born completely deaf and blind. Despite these challenges, Georgia is a confident, capable, and resilient girl who has successfully mapped her current home and navigates it beautifully. She has completed two weeks of board-and-train with Diversity K9, where she worked on structure, confidence, and communication. Georgia is fully crate trained, house trained, and great on walks. She absolutely loves lounging on the couch with her people.

Ideal Home

Georgia currently lives peacefully with two other female dogs and does very well with them. She gains confidence from having another friendly dog around, so she would thrive in a home with a canine companion. She has done well around children 8 years and older, but due to her vision issues, she might accidentally knock over smaller children. Therefore, older children would be a better fit. An ideal home for Georgia would include a large, securely fenced yard and another friendly, well-adjusted dog.

Training & Support

Georgia has completed board-and-train and is house and crate trained. She bonds deeply with her people and finds comfort in routine, gentle guidance, and companionship. Georgia needs a forever home where her family can provide time, patience, and commitment, and someone who understands that disabilities do not limit love.
