Meet Skyler, a gorgeous Doberman/Husky mix with a sweet personality and playful spirit! This approximately 1-year-old female is about 47 lbs of pure love and adventure. Skyler was born to a stray at a ranch and is now ready to find her forever family. She's vaccinated, spayed, and has tested negative for heartworm. While she's not quite potty trained yet, Skyler is happily crate trained and eager to learn more!
Ideal Home
Skyler is friendly, affectionate, and playful, but she also has a calm side that makes her easy to enjoy around the home. She does well with other dogs, but needs to be fed separately to prevent food guarding. She is good with children. Cats have not been tested. One of Skyler's favorite things is playing in water, and she would love a family that enjoys outdoor adventures and fun activities.
Ongoing Health
Skyler is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She tested negative for heartworm and has a negative 4DX.
Training & Support
Skyler is crate trained and eager to continue her training journey. She needs a little work on potty training and separate feeding to manage food guarding. Her young age means this is a wonderful time to build her confidence and continue her training.

Transportation
Skyler is currently located in McAllen, Texas. She can be transported to the East Coast for adoption, primarily serving New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Specific drop-off locations can be provided upon inquiry.
