Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as her smile. Weighing approximately 50 pounds, this sweet girl is the total package—loving, smart, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered. Ivy has never met a stranger and absolutely adores people, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and her signature paw shake. She's always ready to soak up affection from her favorite humans. Ivy has a calming effect on other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash, displaying excellent manners both at home and in public. She easily adjusts to new situations and is happy to be by your side, whether you're enjoying a quiet evening or heading out for an adventure. Ivy is also fantastic with other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends. Sadly, she found herself in a high-kill shelter through no fault of her own, but her sweet temperament helped save her life. Now, she is ready for a forever family who will shower her with the love and affection she so willingly gives.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a home where she can be by your side for quiet evenings or adventures. Yards MUST be adequately and fully fenced; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy displays excellent manners both at home and in public and walks beautifully on a leash.

• Ivy's adoption fee is $400, which includes all vetting, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, and a fitting harness.
• Transport fees can range between $200-$300 for the East Coast and $250-$350 for the West Coast.

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Texas but can be transported anywhere in the United States and even Canada to the right home. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters.
