Hi, I'm Winks! I'm a sweet, senior female Shepherd mix who is just beginning to explore the world around me. My 117 friends and I were rescued from a difficult hoarding situation and are so grateful to Big Dog Ranch Rescue for giving us a second chance. Life outdoors 24/7 in crowded conditions was tough, but I'm learning to adjust and thrive. I'm house-trained and am doing a great job learning to walk on a leash! I'm a little shy at first but am coming out of my shell more each day.

Ideal Home

I'd love a patient and loving home where I can continue to build my confidence. A gentle canine companion would be wonderful, as another dog could show me how to play and be a happy pup!

Ongoing Health

I'm happy to report that I am spayed and vaccinated!

Training & Support

Treats are a great motivator for me when learning new things! I'm still getting used to this big new world, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will help me succeed.
