Athena is a deeply affectionate dog who wants to be by your side through thick and thin, whether you're out for a walk, relaxing at home, or just navigating the day together. She's already spayed and ready to find her forever family.

Ideal Home

Athena thrives with routine, clear expectations, and a strong bond with her person. Due to her high prey drive, she requires a home without cats or other small animals. An adult-only home is preferred, where she can experience consistency, clear leadership, and a calm environment. An experienced adopter who understands the German Shepherd breed and is committed to maintaining structure and continued training will be ideal.

Training & Support

Athena has completed training with JPK9 Oklahoma, focusing on structure, leash skills, and addressing reactivity and resource guarding. She is crate trained and walks nicely on leash, knowing how to settle and relax. She does best with slow, controlled introductions to other dogs and will need an adopter who can continue guiding her in these situations. With proper structure and management, she can coexist with other dogs once she feels comfortable.
