MEET SMOKEY

Smokey's journey began on the tough streets of Harris County, Texas, where survival was a daily challenge. He was rescued by Animal Control and brought to a high-kill shelter, where his time was running out. Thankfully, we stepped in with minutes to spare and saved this incredibly sweet and gentle boy.

Smokey likely spent most of his life outdoors, which led to a heartworm diagnosis. He is currently undergoing treatment and will be all clear soon! Despite his past hardships, Smokey is a loving and affectionate companion. He’s around four years old and has so much love to give. His foster family raves about him – he’s polite, calm, and impeccably behaved indoors, with no accidents and no complaints. He truly embodies gratitude and sweetness in every wag of his tail. Smokey also gets along wonderfully with other dogs!

Smokey is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is progressing well.

Training & Support

Smokey is already well-behaved indoors and has had no accidents. He's a quick learner and will be a wonderful addition to any family.
