Brutus

Meet Brutus, a sweet and gentle dog with a calm demeanor and a deeply loyal nature. He tends to bond more quickly with women, but with time and consistency, he can warm up to men. Once Brutus trusts you, he becomes affectionate, attentive, and loves to be close to his people. He's also a great companion for relaxed outdoor adventures, enjoying walks and hikes, and he appreciates downtime, happy to lounge in the sun or rest near his humans.

Ideal Home

Brutus would do best in a home without young children, as he is still working on improving his food-related behaviors. For management and safety, he would benefit from a baby gate in the hallway leading to the front door, as he can become overly excited when people are entering or leaving the home.

Ongoing Health

Brutus is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Continued training and structure will be important to help Brutus succeed, particularly with his food-related behaviors and excitement around comings and goings. He is looking for a patient, understanding family who will respect his pace and provide clear boundaries.
