About Cedar

Cedar is a charming male Lab X Hound mix, born around January 26th, 2026. He's a bundle of puppy energy and cuteness, ready to find his forever family! Like many puppies, Cedar is still learning the ropes of housetraining, and we're happy to report he's making great progress. He's also working on not scratching or nipping, which is typical puppy behavior.

Ideal Home

Adopting a puppy is a big commitment, and Cedar needs a home that understands the lifestyle changes that come with a young dog. He can only be crated for 3-4 hours at a time due to his age, and puppy-proofing your home will be essential. If you have small children, please consider if they are ready for a puppy that might scratch or nip. Cedar will need consistent training and plenty of your time and attention.

Ongoing Health

Cedar is too young to be tested for heartworm, but this will be done when he is 6 months old. He will be neutered and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. All vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility. He is not yet microchipped.

Training & Support

Cedar is still working on his housetraining and has typical puppy behaviors like scratching and nipping. Consistent training will be very important for Cedar's development.

Application Details:

  • Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
