Draco

Draco is an athletic and adventurous Black Mouth Cur mix, who is about a year old. He's a strong, agile boy with a heart of gold and a love for the zoomies! Draco was rescued from a dangerous situation when his previous owners had to move and threatened to abandon him. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in and saved his life.

Draco is a fence-jumper extraordinaire, capable of clearing a 5-foot fence and even scaling 6-foot ones! Despite his athletic prowess, he's a total sweetheart who enjoys calm pets and affection. He rarely barks, making him a peaceful companion. Draco is also dog-friendly and good with respectful children. He walks well on a leash and would make an excellent partner for walks, hikes, and other outdoor adventures.

Ideal Home

Draco would thrive with an active person or family who can provide him with plenty of exercise. He needs a securely fenced yard to keep his jumping talent safely contained, or an owner committed to consistent leash walks.

Draco is a healthy young dog.

Draco walks well on a leash. Given his fence-jumping abilities, consistent supervision and a secure environment are key to his safety.
