Rocky

Hi, I'm Rocky, a 9-year-old Chihuahua with a gentle soul. I enjoy sunbathing and hopping up in laps for nap time. I am a senior boy, and come with all the senior grumps, including grumbles—but that's just how I talk and ask for my boundaries to be respected. I do not enjoy being picked up randomly, but on occasion will jump up in your lap and ask to be held and cuddled. I am looking for a home that respects my boundaries and will allow me to come to you when I want attention and comfort, and someone who is prepared to be my hospice home and give me a safe place to land to live out my golden years.

Ongoing Health

I have a grade 4 heart murmur, and I am heartworm positive. Because of my heart murmur, our veterinary staff has decided that heartworm treatment and getting neutered is not a safe option for me.

Training & Support

I grumble to communicate my boundaries. Please respect my space and do not pick me up randomly.
